Studio Across the Street from Convention Center 2R

Well-placed studio in Philly Positive: The location is fantastic and almost impossible to beat- you are steps away from the subway, City Hall, Reading Market, and the Convention Center. The room had everything needed for a quick trip to Philly- kitchen supplies, bathroom essentials, clean towels, the like. The diner right outside made breakfast an easy business. Negative: The next door neighbors seemed to be throwing all-night children's parties. On our second night, the random pounding on the walls and the cranked up children's TV were accompanied by what sounded like a man playing the drums on his belly for an hour. I realize that there isn't much the proprietor can do about the neighbors. But light sleepers should be aware that while the street outside of the building is quiet, there is some noise from within. There were a few strange black flakes on the bed when we came in, which is strange given that the room was meant to be cleaned just prior to our arrival.

Host was very responsive, room was clean, and it was overall a great experience. I will definitely be back my next trip to Philly.

Positive: Close to everything downtown 1 minutes walk to reading teeminal for yummy goods and deals Negative: THERE IS NO PARKING!!! You will need to walk about a mile or so, or pay for parking which is generally no in and out garages between $120+ online sites per week 4 nights.
