Large & Sunny 1/1 | Center City | Sleeps 4

Not worth it! Unclean bedding, broken amenities Positive: The location is convenient for being in Center City. Negative: This is long, but worth reading if you are considering this property. I came right on time to check into the property in order to simply drop off my luggage, since an earlier check-in of only an hour requires an additional fee. Despite being on time, the owner was not forthcoming with the code to access the keys and I had to go back and forth with them via the Booking messenger before they finally told me the instructions were in the sketchy extra app they forced me to download outside the Play Store in order to confirm my reservation (the first red flag). I followed the instructions only to find at the top of the stairs that the keys were for the wrong unit, and had to get on the phone with someone to get the correct keys from a different box all the way back downstairs again. This was the second red flag. I dropped off my luggage and left to finish errands, having wasted enough time already. The owners do not live locally and may not even live in the country. Because of this, they do not ensure that their property is properly cleaned or functioning correctly. When we came back to the property later that evening, we found long human hair all over the bedding and the couch was covered in crumbs. The extra sheets in the closet had a blood stain on them. The microwave didn't work and the shower pressure was unusable. The soap dispenser on the bathroom sink was broken. When we alerted the owners to this, including photos, they gaslit us and sent a picture their cleaner had taken from the other end of the room to "prove" that the bed had been cleaned, and only offered to have the same cleaner come back the next day to change the sheets (assumedly to the stained sheets in the closet). Not only was this an insufficient solution, but none of the other complaints were addressed at all, and no other compensation was offered whatsoever.

Good size apartment, clean, good location. Positive: Good location, clean apartment with a lot of space. Negative: Not a big problem but there were no coffee or tea cups at the property which made it impossible to make a cup of tea or coffee as there was only plastic cups. Water pressure in the shower is poor. Owner needs to address these things if they want to keep charging those prices but overall it’s a good apartment.

Positive: Great location, large with great facilities, supermarkets, bar & food nearby. Easy location near station & fairly close to Reading terminal Negative: 4th floor, stairs a bit challenging but mainly due to a leg/foot issue

It is directly located in the center of the city. The room was clean. There are some drawbacks to mention: Locker box for the keys should be more convenient, its hard to open and I had to try it several times. The narrow and steep stairs should be mentioned in the listing, There should be some more safety measures with the apartment door, it felt unsafe, The plastic cups felt not convenient, there might be at least 3 glass cups in the kitchen cabinets.

Positive: Ampio e luminoso.
