Bi-Level 2B Loft | Old City (4R)

A little bit worse for ware. Positive: Location. Negative: The upkeep was subpar. Holes in almost every wall. Large holes. Crumbling window sills. Loose fixtures everywhere. Broken closet door. Lamps that did not work. Stains on the bed spreads. Even my youngest commented on the condition of the space.

Great place in a great location. Had everything we needed and was within walking distance of the majority of places we wanted to visit during our stay.

The host was responsive, the price is reasonable, and the location in Old City meant that walking wherever I needed to go was easy. That said, the photographs do not accurately represent the condition of the apartment; it's badly worn, with damage to lots of surfaces. There's also an air conditioning unit (or something?) on the roof that makes the top floor bedroom feel a bit like a garage door is repeatedly opening during the night.

I would not book it for the second time. Positive: I liked the location that it is close to Philadelphia center. Negative: Dishes are plastic, a lot of things that haven’t been repaired, it was not comfortable as there is zero noise insulation. Constantly a child from neighboring apartment was crying.

Brittani is a wonderful host! Very, very responsive to all questions. Genuinely cares about her guests! Property is located in Old City, my absolute favorite part of Philly. Can’t go wrong staying here!
