Large 2/2 in Old City | Sleeps 8! (U-3)

Positive: Местоположение прекрасное. Стиральная машина и сушка были тоже замечательные. Нам они пригодились после путешествия. Negative: Комната с двумя кроватями очень холодная, от окна жутко дуло. Вид из нее прекрасный, но дети мерзли. В спальне, где одна кровать было значительно темплее. Под квартирой находится бар и там было очень шумно каждый вечер. В квартире было грязно, это сильно расстроило, так как мы были с детьми, а они собирают всю грязь с пола.

The kitchen was adequate, but there wasn’t any bakeware to use in the oven. It was nice to have two bathrooms.The showers were great with plenty of hot water. The decor was nice. The beds were very comfortable. Negative: We had to enter two doors before reaching the stairwell to the apartment. Both of those doors never locked. The second door even had a code, but it was unnecessary because the lock did not work. Also the door to the apartment was not very secure and the knob kept falling off. We replaced it a few times by using a kitchen knife (the apartment had no tools), but the screw kept coming out. It would have been nice to have been informed about the number of steep stairs leading to the apartment and alerted to the fact that there is no elevator. One of ladies staying with us was in her 70s. The Booking.com ad specifically said there were four beds, but there were only three. From the pictures one could assume that the apartment might have five beds because of the way the furniture in one room had been moved to take the pictures. We didn’t expect five beds, but we definitely were counting on four beds. When we informed the owner they mentioned we could blow up an air mattress from the closet. There were sheets for the air mattresses, but no additional blankets. We decided to just double up in the beds and m by ake it work. The most surprising and challenging thing about this apartment was the bar below our floor that was very loud from about 10:00pm–2:30 in the morning every night. This was especially confusing because there was a sign in the apartment asking us to observe the quiet hours from 10:00–8:00am so we wouldn’t disturb the neighbors. The music from the bar was so loud in the room with only one bed that the occupant couldn’t even drown out the noise with earplugs and white noise. She blew up one of the air mattresses and moved it into the bathroom, but it had a hole in it and quickly stared deflating. In the end, she ended up moving in with a friend at a nearby hotel for the rest of our time in Philadelphia. And she would come back for meals and then sleep at the hotel.

Positive: It was close to the things we wanted to see. Nice that we could all be in the same area, instead of going to different rooms to talk to each other. Negative: *If I would have known I had so many stairs to climb, I wouldn’t have booked the room. I have bad knees and not having an elevator was not good for me, especially having to haul my suitcase up 3 flights of stairs. *The floors in the apartment were not that clean. My feet were very dirty just walking across the floor once. I started wearing socks and that didn’t work too well either. With all the dirt clinging to my socks. *The neighbors below us played music pretty loud well past midnight each night we stayed there. *Sitting in the couch was not comfortable. You felt like you sunk to the floor the instance you sat down. We would have to sit on beds to talk to each other or stand in the kitchen.

Comfortable two bedroom apartment Positive: Central location and well decorated, perfect for two couples or family with the two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. Negative: Impotant to note that there are two flights of stairs.For some, especially with heavy luggage, this can be a problem. The street entrance is not that presentable, but the interior and layout of the apartment is a pleasant surprise. At first the wifi was very slow, but the host was very helpful and quickly offered us an alternative, which solved the problem.
