No charming apartment Positive: The location Negative: We have been facing several issues with the unit since our arrival and thought they should be communicated to you. A technician came to install a window AC unit right upon our arrival. Not only were we not warned about this appointment, but it happened exactly as we were trying to settle in our apartment and reunite with our daughter. The so called “warning” message was received at 4:56 (see screenshot attached) so AFTER the technician was already in the unit, obviously we had never given our approval. The host was aware that we would not be able to receive communications that day because we were in an international flight, and we had given her our daughter’s contact to communicate check-in information and she had not been warned either. This inconvenience resulted in an AC unit that was improperly installed in the window, and soon after the said window falling on my head. Not only is this unsafe as it could have resulted in an injury but also the window could not close properly and allowed for an easy outside access in the unit and the AC was which we felt extremely uneasy about. We noticed that the unit itself was in poor condition, walls have holes, scratches and some sections are poorly “fixed”. Furnitures are also scratched and broken (rip on the couch for instance). The unit being above a Thai restaurant, since the windows do not close properly because of the AC, the bedrooms smell like restaurant garbage and are pretty loud. We were also surprised by the lack of cleanliness, and dust which triggered my allergies. Additionally, this unit, supposedly for 8 people, only 2 bedrooms, 3 queen bed for 6 persons, 2 of wich are in the same bedroom and other in air mastress. And only provided 1 key set which is extremely inconvenient. It was also never mentioned that there were not door nob and only a small lock (which again, feels unsafe). Overall we are disappointed with our experience so far.

Negative: The property was really run down- holes in the walls, plaster put over parts of the wall but not repainted, rip in the couch, the beds were just bed frames and mattresses. All linens- sheets, towels, and the curtains on the bedroom windows were very cheap thin materials. The quality of the apartment was much lower than the price we paid.

Positive: The location is prime Negative: The curtain rods fell down, there were holes in the walls, the air conditioner window units were not properly installed and had gaps for bugs to get into. The toilet was so close to the shower that you had to sit on it sideways for leg room

Great location and excellent assistance! Positive: We accidentally lost a key and the staff was incredibly helpful and very responsive (especially Wendy)! Negative: The apartment could use some spackling, paint, and cozier decor.
